Supplies:
1. Scrapbook paper/cardstock
2. Mod Podge
3.Scissors and Pencil
4. Sponge brush
5. (optional) Clear coat of spray paint
6. "Clean" outlet cover
*First off, trace your outlet cover onto your cardstock. Including all the holes. Then cut out your outlines leaving 1/4 inch on the outer edges. Cut the inner holes for the switch, the cleaner the cut the better it'll look. Then just put small slits where the screws will go just as a marker.
*Add a thin layer of Mod Podge to the outlet cover, then to the paper and slowly stick together. Making sure there are no air bubbles.
*Then side by side add mod podge to the side and hold till dry and continue with each side until they are all sealed. Cut off any gapping paper. ( There will be paper left over on the edges, once it is ALL dry take a nail file or straight razor and trim the edges down, carefully.)
*Add a sealer coat of Mog Podge to the top and let dry for 5 mins. Then optionally and reccomended add the clear coat of spray paint. With the spray paint the covers will be easier to clean, whereas with the Mod Podge alone it will NOT clean well.
*Enjoy your beautiful covers and feel free to follow the steps to dress up your outlet covers as well!
